We are looking for a permanent full time General Warehouse Associate for the Afternoon Shift, who will be working at our Coquitlam branch location Monday to Thursday 11:45am – 10:15pm (4 days a week x 10 hour shifts).

Responsibilities

• Execute product loading, unloading, and movement manually or with basic material handling equipment.
• Utilize various equipment for efficient unloading, loading, and movement of products.

Facilitate product weighing, wrapping, packing, and unpacking.

• Process incoming requisitions, including order picking, checking, and packing.
• Conduct thorough inspection and verification of incoming goods against invoices and relevant documents.
• Ensure timely shipment of orders.
• Monitor and replenish stock bins as necessary.
• Maintain and organize inventory meticulously.
• Utilize inventory control system proficiently for information retrieval, order tracking, and discrepancy resolution.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness consistently.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated physical capability to lift heavy shipments and products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience operating industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers preferred. Certification not required but experience necessary due to the significant role of machinery operation.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong memory retention capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and adeptness in computerized environments and inventory control systems.
• Experience with scan gun picking considered advantageous.
• Positive team player attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience required.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with 36 feet high ceilings.
